About Me

Maya Rao is a junior at Austin High School who is involved in soccer, figure skating, debate, and band, where she plays the trombone. She also serves as secretary of the AHS student council. She enjoys giving back to her community through a variety of volunteer experiences, including helping with blood drives, church events, and student council activities. Through her figure skating club, she loves to volunteer by teaching and helping younger skaters. Maya joined the CEO program to make meaningful connections with peers and community members while learning more about the business world. She hopes to gain many valuable life skills, expand her community involvement, and prepare for a future career in the medical field, where she can continue pursuing her passion for helping others.
