This morning at Lou Rich in Hayward. Lou Rich was established in 1972 when they opened their Hayward facility. They have expanded over the years and now have three plants and have acquired additional businesses. We learned about the collaboration they have with Hormel Foods where there are Hormel engineers on staff alongside Lou Rich employees. Lou Rich began their relationship with Hormel in 1977 and have worked together to develop and test many products. Their engineers develop products to make processing more efficient and offer support to Hormel and the other companies they work with. It was very interesting to tour the facility and see the products being developed and tested. The students were very impressed by the innovation and development happening at this facility. Thanks for a fantastic morning and for continuing to invest in the CEO Program!
