Yesterday we visited with Kris Heichel with Fairway Independent Mortgage Company. Kris always shares openly with students about the real challenges that she has encountered both professionally and personally. This is something that allows our students to understand that everything is not perfect and how they can overcome the challenges they will face. Additionally, her message about working with her employees, and Fairway shows her dedication and commitment to building a strong team.

Kris also shared about the mortgage process and credit as students look to the future. Students asked many great questions about these topics that help them to understand the impact this could have on their future businesses and their life. We greatly appreciate the commitment that Kris has to this program and our students!
