This morning we met with the team at The Austin Area Chamber of Commerce including Joe, Ary, Matias, and Kristen The Austin Area Chamber was established in 1940. Their role is to help strengthen the business community and to serve their members by helping to build, promote, and advocate for businesses. They currently have right around 350 members.

Students split into groups to hear about the variety of ways The Chamber supports businesses and the community, as well as event planning and marketing. This is very relevant in the moment and will help them to navigate some of the challenges they may be encountering in their event planning.
