Today we visited Quality Pork Processors. This was a very unique opportunity for our students as they toured the facility and saw the production line. Quality Pork Processors processes between 19,000 and 20,000 pigs per day and has around 1,200 employees. It was interesting to see the process and to hear about how the whole animals is used. QPP has high respect for their employees and providing the best products. It was clear that they take good care of their employees. They support their workers in being successful by adjusting to change when needed and having the mindset necessary to be successful. We even got to run into a family members’.
