This morning we met with Heather Vossler and Nate Smit from the Innovation Team at Hormel. We learned more about product development and how this works at Hormel Foods. Students engaged in a Design Thinking activity and were challenged to come up with solutions to a problem presented by a peer.

We received lots of great advice and were challenged to think outside of the box! Thank you for a great morning!

- Always be curious and work to learn more.
- Give yourself permission and be brave to try new things and get out of your comfort zone.
- Research and push to find out more about products and your product development.
- Ask questions to meet the needs of the consumer.
- Go out into the field and study.

Thank you to this amazing team for pushing us to think outside of the box!
