This morning we met with Sandy Anderson of Sandy Anderson Consulting to learn more about how we can operate and function in our daily lives and careers. Sandy pushes our students to think critically about what is impacting them now and will in the future. Students went through the table principles that Sandy created and analyzed how these principals can impact their lives.
Some big takeaways from this morning:
- How we live impacts how we lead
- Creating a culture is important
- How we communicate impacts three things: capacity, clarity, and connection
- Identify the problem and then move forward
- When we only see the negative and don’t reframe, we will miss out on an opportunity
