This morning we visited The Style Lounge with owner, Lindsey Compton. Lindsey has owned The Style Lounge for almost 15 years and has invested in CEO from the start! Lindsey grew up in Austin and is very rooted in the Austin community. She shared openly about the impact work culture has had on her career and how she intentionally works to maintain an outstanding culture at the salon.

We also met Sam Bergene who is a stylist in the salon. She shared her story about finding her passion and finding a way to do something she loves. One thing Sam shared about was the 12 week associates program that The Style Lounge has in place for new employees to get them acclimated and additional training as they start their career.

In addition to The Style Lounge, Lindsey also owns the MOD Medspa with Betsy Morem. It is clear that she loves her profession and has passion for all she does! Lindsey places a lot of emphasis on education and she continues to seek out opportunities to help her and her staff to grow. Lindsey’s focus on culture and working together as a team helps to create a fabulous experience for her customers and employees. With the help of her stylists, she creates a code of honor helping them to work as a team. We are looking forward to creating this ourselves in the coming days.
