Tuesday we kicked off break with a pre-break potluck! Thank you to Hometown Food Security for providing us with a delicious turkey and teaching us about the work being done in Austin. They are currently packing backpacks for about 700 students per week and recently donated 3500 turkeys!

Insights they shared:

- Consider how you engage others and hear their insights.
- Find ways to talk about others and not just yourself, learn how to have a conversation with others and hear the insights of other people.
- Learn to be okay with failure and learn from it.
- Go back through the steps and see why you failed. This will help you to grow.
