This morning we were able to visit Clifton Larson Allen. We heard from various members of their team and were able to hear about the different services they offer ranging from household services, private businesses, financial institutions, health care organizations, nonprofit and government organizations, international work, and client and wealth management.

- Kim Hillberg, Principal, shared how their company works hard to make sure they are focused on doing what’s right for the public, their clients, and each other. There are many opportunities for growth within their company and the ability to become specialized in an area.

- Kevin Wagner, Business Process Manager, shared about his position working with audits and IT. He shared that there are so many career paths available and by continuing to take opportunities before him, he was able to grow through seeking them himself and through suggestions of mentors.

- Angie Ross, Operations Director, shared about her experience starting at the company and quickly becoming the office manager. She was young at this point, but knew she could do it! Angie also shared about mentoring new employees and emphasized the family feel they have in their company.

- Mat Walters, Senior in Manufacturing and Distribution Tax, shared about the various ways he communicates with clients. He also touched on the differences when working with individuals versus companies.

- Ashley Johnson, BizOps Staff, she shared about what her daily schedule looks like and how that can change in a moment. Ashley started with CLA during the pandemic, so she was learning a new job and navigating the pandemic with her company. She appreciates the flexibility of her job and how she can schedule some of her own hours in order to balance family and work life.

It was a great morning of hearing from the CLA team! We appreciate their investment in the CEO Program and the continued connection with our students! Pacelli Catholic SchoolsAustin Public Schools
