This morning we met with Alexa Dolan, Austin Public Schools Instructional Coach, to work on questioning. This is an important part of the process they will use this year and coming to understand how to take questioning to the next level will be critical in learning what they need. Students acknowledged that they recognize a point in school where students get less comfortable asking questions due to fear, insecurities, and just a lack of curiosity in areas.
Today we challenged them to:
- Use their questions to drive their destiny
- Dig into what you are passionate about
- Ask questions that will take you to the next level
- Consider what you need to know for the future
- Push yourself out of your comfort zone and ask!
